Denny brauer structure jig review

So far, 2 out of 2 have broke there after one fish. I'm not sure what kind of lead the head is made of but it's very brittle. Great design but needs improvement. They do skip well but not any better than the Hack Attack jig. I'll keep using the Hack Attack jig! Comments: The versatility of this jig is awesome. Comments: These are my absolute go-to jigs for casting, and I throw them all year round with consistent results.

Think of modifying a jig as you do dress slacks; you get them to fit the way you like. I use different trailers, but mostly go with a large chunk. I let the jig sink to the bottom, then use my rod to vary erratic crawling and hoping motions. Comments: this is one of my all time favorite jigs to throw. The versatility is amazing. You can fish it as a flipping jig and a football jig at the same time.

Where I fish a lot, on the shore there's a shallow flat the runs about 4 feet off from shore, and then its straight ledge for 17 feet. I can pitch this shallow, work it like a casting jig, and then work it like a football jig down the ledge. It's killer, especially paired up with a rage tail craw you will hammer fish. Comments: This jig comes through brush piles and trees easily rarely getting snagged.

Fished one for 3 days on LoZ never lost it caught 2 4. Comments: Not a bad jig, but overpriced for what you are getting. Mainly the skirt is not made from the best silicone strands. It doesn't flair a whole lot and that's the appeal of a skirted bait to the bass. I remember when Strike King was a great tackle company. The best thing they have going is their crankbaits.

Comments: Very poor quality control in my book from Strike King. The eye of the jig was completely coated over. Who wants to spend 5 minutes digging it out with risk of damaging the inside of the eyelet before you can tie it on. Also disappointed with the size of the hook. Having such a short hook shank with a rather large bait keeping it actually reduces the gap quite a bit.

I do like the shape of the head and location of the eye. I feel the jig could be used in cover or swimming it quite nicely. Menu Search. This is the menu content for Discipline 2. Hook keeper is massive but that's not necessarily a bad thing, it keeps it on the hook. Bama craw is my go-to. Used them a couple of times and every time I break the trailer keeper off and bend out the hooks.

Upgrade the hooks and use a better mold design on the keeper. The head shape is fantastic though, skips and comes through cover like a dream. Comments: Best finesse jigs on the market. This little structure jig catches big fish. The unique head allows the jig to glide through the thickest cover and the owner hooks are very strong compared to the cheaper hooks on a bitsy bug that rusts up after a few uses.

I have been using them ever since they came out and stocked up. Only finesse jig i would ever throw. Try em out Love how it works and looks!! Comments: Great little jigs, they are kind of a mix between a finesse jig and a regular size flipping jig. I really like them, you can pitch them or drag them. Menu Search. This bait features Rage Tail flanges for very subtle action at very slow speeds and is designed for use behind Strike King's Jointed Structure Head but is also a great choice for flipping or Carolina rigging.
