He tried to get an admission in the Madras film institute but could not fulfill his aim. He also aspired to become a lawyer and he was able to achieve his aim after many long years.

He enrolled as a lawyer on 30 th July after 22 years of his dreams. His son, Vishakh, is also involved in the film industry, while his daughter, Parvathy, has pursued a career in medicine.
